My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmaline is a sweet 1.5 year old Lab/Hound mix who weighs 46 pounds but is rather skinny and could stand to put on about ten more pounds. She was rescued from a high intake shelter in West Virginia, after being found as a stray. It was obvious she wasn't well cared for as she had missing fur from a previous flea infestation

However, all of that has changed, and Emmaline is getting much needed love, food, and medical attention!!! She’s a good girl who is a bit shy at first, but she loves people once she warms up. She is very playful with dogs her size or smaller, but is a bit intimidated by bigger dogs. This gorgeous gal likes to play chase with the cats in her foster home, so it would be best if she found a fur-ever home without them. But, she cannot be in a home with domesticated birds as they have proven to be too tempting for the hound side of her!!! Thus far, Emmaline has not had any accidents in her foster home and appears to be housebroken.

She also has an aversion to the camera as we haven't been able to get a picture of her looking straight at it, which explains the side view pictures. Perhaps she thinks her soul will be stolen if she looks into the lens :)!
