My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. My name is Rhett. I am a 10 year old neutered black male Lab mix weighing in at about 81 pounds. My person wasn't able to care for me any longer, so the good folks at DLRR have taken me in to find me a new forever home. Could that be with you? I can sit and know down, too. I would love to have you pet me and I like to play with the little dog toys. I do like walks. I have been told I should probably lose a few pounds, so regular walking is going to be key. On my walks with my foster mom I have met 7 new dogs and their people and enjoyed walking with them all. I really walk well on a leash. In the house, I am such a good boy; I know about doggie doors and never have accidents inside. I will let out a warning bark if someone comes to the door. I know that furniture is for humans, so I lay on the rug and have figured out recently that dog beds are pretty nice too. And I even sleep all night long, which means with me by your side, you can rest easy too!
