Clever is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in him, please email KSwanson@cityofberkeley.info. The first step will be to set up a virtual meeting with their current foster family via phone, zoom, or facetime, to provide you with more detailed information. Following that, if you feel like it could be a good adoption fit, shelter staff will help coordinate a socially-distanced meeting in person so that you can meet your potential family member up-close and personal. Clever is an active and intelligent dog who will thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of physical as well as mental exercise. He is very calm, easy to walk and gentle with people. He is not reactive to dogs on walks. He may be able to live in a home with another dog. He is friendly with other dogs but needs a home without cats He’s not a fan of being cooped up inside a house all day so would love an outdoorsy lifestyle with opportunities for adventure and exploring. Clever is a very nice dog who can make a nice family companion.
