Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lugnut is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home.
Lugnut was picked up by animal control and his owners never came to reclaim him. Our veterinarian refused to put him down, so now this fabulous boy is looking for a new home. Lugnut is a Rottweiler (might be a mix) between 5 and 7 years of age and weighing 65 pounds. Lugnut is good with people, children, and all kinds of dogs. He loves kids. Lugnut is easygoing and fairly low energy. One lap around the block and he is ready to chill on the couch. He is a big goofball that likes to roll on his back in the grass. He rides well in a vehicle and likes water. A professional trainer has worked with him and he mastered basic obedience in a week. Lugnut is highly motivated by food and treats and he loves his rawhides. He has been cat tested and we have determined that he cannot be trusted with cats. Lugnut is being fostered by our veterinarian. He does not potty in his kennel. They are still working with housetraining and general house manners and say he is doing well. Yet at this point, he probably should be crated and not left unsupervised in the house. We want Lugnut to be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and would do best with a securely fenced yard to run and play.
Lugnut is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and receiving monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Lugnut has a $450.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport via Mightly Mutt Shipping for pickup in White River Junction VT. He is being fostered in Texas and will not be sent north until after he is adopted. Please email 2 Many Dogs Rescue for an adoption application if you are interested in adopting this good boy.
