Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Boone is a 1 year-old, black and white Blue Tick Hound/Lab mix who weighs in the 50 lb. range. This handsome galumph of a dog with the soulful eyes, wagging tail, and who runs with skitter skatter legs like a floppy puppy, loves butt scratches, belly rubs, and giving kisses to the people he knows and trusts at the shelter. Boone is a “leaner;” he would rather hang out, leaning against his people than chase a ball in the yard. Crating is not Boone’s thing, he’s a smart dog who wants “to be with;” being alone makes him bored and frustrated, and when he’s bored and frustrated he shreds his toys and blankets. Boone will need some help with housetraining and sharing his toys. His “Velcro” dog demeanor means he gives you his full attention, making him an ideal candidate for canine manners and good citizenship classes, and he’s eager to learn. Boone is waiting for someone who wants him and can give him the loving time and attention he needs to grow into an exceptional companion. Older kids only. If you feel yourself leaning towards Boone, contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org
