My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bentley is just a grouchy old man who needs a loving home. Since he was saved from death row at the local shelter he has been in training learning how to be a dog. He has the Clint Eastwood "get off my lawn" personality about him. He's not looking to go hiking or on daily walks. He enjoys laying around and hanging out.

More about this rescue

We are a tax exempt organization of highly dedicated and hard working people who are rescuing animals from the dangers of the streets and from being euthanized at the local shelters. Our entire team is committed to both physical & emotional rehabilitation so these rescues will become a part of your family and not just a pet. Responsible adoptions will help our rescues find the right "fur-ever" home the first time.

Not every dog in need is on the street or in the shelters. Gracie Lou Rescue also has a variety of services we offer to help families keep their beloved pets. From low cost vaccinations to spay/neuter assistance. If you or somebody you know is thinking about dumping their pet on the street or at a shelter, please use the contact page and let us know. There are many other options. We can help!
