Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Tolbert
Breeds: Black Lab Mix
Age: Senior
Gender: Male
Tolbert is a middle aged (7-8 year old) Lab mix with a heart of pure gold. He spent 10 months in a vet clinic in Alabama and everyone fell in love with him. It's impossible not to fall in love with this sweet hearted gentleman. Tolbert is a social guy who does well with other dogs, fine with cats, and thinks people are the greatest things ever. Everyone he meets is his newest best friend. He greets everyone with happy tail wags and leans in for pets immediately. Tolbert is patient, polite, and well-mannered. He is housetrained and crates well (though likely doesn't need it). Tolbert has enough pep in his step to love his walks and has good leash manners. He equally loves naps and netflix too. He is the whole package when it comes to good dogs. He is heartworm positive and will be treated end of June. His treatment is covered by the rescue at our vet. You can read more about heartworm treatment here: http://headinghomek9rescue.com/Heartworm.pdf
Requirements: Home with yard space.
Adoption Fee: $450 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing if appropriate, deworming, microchip, and current preventatives
