This happy, smiling boy is Silas the miniature Lab. Okay, that isn't a thing but he looks exactly like a Lab just pocket sized at about 40 lbs. Our best guess is Lab/Basset or Lab/ Beagle. He is Mr. Friendly and loves everyone-kids, cats, dogs, and all people. Silas has some old dog lumps and bumps and arthritis which means he will likely need anti-inflammatory meds for the remainder of his life to keep him comfortable. He is a bit of a chunky boy so some weight loss would be beneficial to him to reduce the pressure on his joints too. He doesn't let it slow him down though. In fact the opposite, he loves every bit of life. His tail wags constantly, he thinks he belongs in your lap, and likes being carried even! He is housetrained, doesn't need a crate though is fine crated as well, and has good house manners. He would be best in a home without a lot of stairs because of that arthritis. He has been treated for Ehrlichia, a tick-borne disease, and just had his dental done so he is ready to pass out kisses with his minty fresh breath! Silas is estimated to be about 10-12 years old.

Requirements: Home with yard space.

Adoption Fee: $450 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing if appropriate, deworming, microchip, and current preventatives
