Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET TEDDY. He is a sweet senior male yorkie who is 12 years old and weighs 11 lbs. Teddy is being fostered in Orlando, FL.
Due to Covid-19, all dogs fostered in the state of Florida must be adopted within the State of Florida.
UPDATED BIO 05/08/2021: Teddy came into UYR because his mom had some serious health issues and was no longer able to care for him. Sadly, Teddy hasnt received much vetting care in the past few years, but he has been groomed and had his vet appointment and passed with flying colors. He is now up-to-date on his vaccinations hooray! He did have a yeast infection in both ears and that is being treated with medications. Teddy is scheduled for his neuter and dental on 08/11/2021 and once he has recuperated, he will be ready to go to his forever home.
Here's what Teddy had to say when he landed in his foster home:
Hi everyone! It's me, Teddy. I'm the new kid on the block. Let me tell you about myself.
I'm 12 years old and still young at heart. I'm 11 pounds of cuteness. I love belly rubs, car rides and walks. I am smart, too BONUS - I am house trained! I had a mom and dad when I was a puppy, but about two years ago, they told me they weren't going to be together anymore and I would be living with grandma. I was sad at first, but I quickly learned to love grandma like I loved mom and dad. I still see dad from time to time and he still loves me. But then, grandma's eyes started to not work anymore and she told me she had to move to a place where doggies aren't allowed. This made me sad all over again.
But when my foster mom brought me to her house, she said she would find the perfect forever home for me. I don't know what to expect, but I know she'll take good care of me until then. For now - Teddy out! Check back later for an update .
