Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We rescued Rex in September of 2020. He had wounds all over his body, and he was so weak he couldn't even stand. We rushed him to the vet office, where he had to stay on medical boarding until he put on some weight and heal his horrible wounds. He will keep those scars forever, but luckily, he can leave his tragic past where it belongs- in the past. Rex is now fully recovered and living his best life, waiting for his forever family to come to get him. Of course, having such tough life at the begging of his life left scars on him, and not only on his body. Rex is very sensitive and would lose weight when he's stressed out. We're currently keeping him on a special diet that has been working out well for him. Rex is a calm guy when he's at home, one might call him a couch potato, but he can be a little rascal when he goes to public places, like a vet office. He may get overly stimulated and try to jump at everyone he sees to say hello. Rex would need to go to an experienced adopter who's able to continue working on his manners. When on the walks, Rex ignores the dogs. But because of his past as a bait dog (which is our assumption due to all the bite marks at the time of the rescue), we believe it's best he would be the only dog in the household, so he gets all the attention he so very much deserves.
