My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucius is a cute one-year old male Hound mix who was brought to the HSOV on May 11, 2021 by a Good Samaritan who had found him on Washington Street in Marietta Ohio on May 8th. Lucius was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped.

Lucius has a light brown short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with a wrinkled brow, a black button nose, and large floppy ears. Lucius has a sweet, rather demure, disposition and friendly, affectionate personality.

Lucius weighs 40.2 lbs. He doesn't appear to have had much leash training but he made a noble effort when HSOV kennel tech Hayley Gorrell accompanied him outdoors and gave him the confidence he needed to walk with her.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Lucius will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.

UPDATE: Lucius was neutered on June 7, 2021 and was also given rabies vaccine.
