Meet Saber! She was very slow to open up when she arrived at Catnip Cat Cafe, but once she finally did she’s turned out to be a very loving and affectionate cat! She will purr up a storm and make biscuits while you pet her, and will lean in and paw at you for more pets if you try to stop! She loves loves LOVES chin scratches and being brushed. Unlike most cats, she is not motivated by treats at all, but the sight of her favorite brush always gets her excited and is the best way to break the ice and warm up building a connection. Now that she’s more social and confident, she likes to spend time around people, and will sit patiently waiting for attention. Recently she has discovered her new favorite toy - a wand with a little mouse at the end. Her face lights up whenever you bring out her mousey, and she will play with you and even on her own! She’s also discovered spring toys, and will spend time being adorable while batting them around. Saber has a classic RBF grumpy face, but we all think that makes her even cuter! When she’s feeling happy and loved you can see a little smile on her face that will melt your heart! Saber will make a great companion kitty. She prefers the cat café when it’s quiet, but would still do well with the right family that understands her calm and gentle nature. She has become very special to the whole Catnip Cat Café staff, and we can’t wait until she meets her purrfect person to give her the forever home she’s so ready for!
