Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy Mae #8290 is a 5-year-old female Cocker Spaniel mix. She is a friendly and sassy gal. Daisy Mae is house trained and mostly crate trained, though she is not a fan of the crate. She knows the commands sit and down. She loves treats. Daisy Mae has been in a foster home with other small dogs and cats and is doing well with all. She is active and energetic and loves to play. She should have plenty of tough chew toys to play with. She is a sweet, goofy gal who will love and protect her person! She has a typical small dog/cocker personality. She walks well on the leash; though she has to know and trust the person putting the leash on, otherwise she can be mouthy. She can be afraid of new people, especially on walks. She would do best in a suburban setting with an adopter with a fenced in backyard and no small children. She rides well in the car. She weighs 15 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks, so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups, should be on heartworm preventative; an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you are interested in adopting this dog, and are already approved to adopt through our organization, please contact dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with the pup’s name and ID number in the subject line.
