Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Patty #8539 is a 7-year-old female Hound/Beagle mix. She is a shy, gentle and independent gal. Patty isn’t sure about other animal companions, so she should probably be the only pet in the home. She is crate trained. She walks well on the leash but will sometimes get distracted in doing her own thing. She has a moderate energy level. Patty loves affection once she gets to know you. She is slow to trust, but sweet once she opens up. A patient, dedicated adopter will help Patty’s true colors shine. Patty came to LCAR with puppies in tow. She was a great mom and is now ready for some well-deserved rest and relaxation! She weighs 27 pounds and should gain at least 5 pounds to be at her healthiest weight. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks, so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups, should be on heartworm preventative; an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you are interested in adopting this dog, and are already approved to adopt through our organization, please contact dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with the pup’s name and ID number in the subject line. OTHERWISE, please submit an adoption application online: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html E-mail dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions.
