Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Let us know if you're interested in helping Millie retire from street life! This older lady (possibly around 10 years old) has lived as a feral street cat for most of her life. She's FIV+ and is getting a dental cleaning later this week. Otherwise she's in good health and won't need special care. She loves being pet around the face and chin. She will start purring almost immediately, and it can get really loud - almost singing! She's still wary but warms up quickly. She will do best in a quiet home. She can live with other cats but she can also go to a solo-cat home.
Her backstory: She was fed by an older lady and another feeder, both who had to move away but still made efforts to feed her (one feeder has one of her kittens). The house where she hung out also recently got a pit bull as a pet. Her nights were spent avoiding multiple dogs and eating her feeder's meals, and hanging out in a tree. She would run around her feeder's feet, asking for the food. In fact, her feeder encouraged her to go into the drop-trap - and that's how we caught her.
Millies has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas, worms and earmites.
