My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Vinnie! (AKA - Vinchenzo, Vin-Vin or Puppa). I’m a middle-aged pittie with a lot of love to give. I absolutely love being around people, I make friends everywhere I go! Given that I like hanging with humans so much and I want them all to myself, I need to be the only animal in the home. Who’s up for some snuggles?!

Some of my favorite things to do include:

-Playing ball

-Working on a “project” (or ensuring every last drop of the peanut butter is cleaned out from my Kong)

-Going for walks

-Sunbathing

-Cuddling up on the couch

My foster Mom says I have a sweet, gentle nature with an old soul. I don’t like to talk (bark) too much, only to let my humans know I would like to use the bathroom or when I get a little nervous about them leaving me home alone. I enjoy greeting people at the door, don’t worry, I don’t jump! I have the basic cues down pat -- I know sit, stay, come, no/off and heel. I am learning to walk right next to my people on walks. At times I do get anxious around other dogs my size or larger, but I’m working on it! I enjoy sleeping in my dog bed in my crate, it’s like my own little safe cave. I nap a lot throughout the day and sleep all through the night. I would love a yard where I could play fetch and sniff around. I would really just like a loving home, some yummy treats and a ball.

The adoption donation for Vinnie is $300. This donation helps to cover veterinary expenses including spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations.
