My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walker is a gray Lionhead mix neutered male. He was dumped near an elementary school and was fed and watered from afar by some teachers, but they could never get near him. Finally he wandered up to a little boy who picked him up and took him home. Mom took the poor little bunny to an animal shelter and they called us to come get him. He was infested with fleas and ticks, had bilateral ear infections, and infected injuries suffered from a predator attack. He was also very underweight. He received treatment and recovered slowly. Thankfully, he is now very healthy with no lasting effects from his rough medical conditions. He is a sweet little boy with an upbeat personality.

Isley is a spayed female Silver Marten. She was rescued from an even worse situation than Walker's. She had been dumped with her siblings on a very rural road leading up to one single house. The desperate bunnies were fighting severely with each other over territory and mating attempts. All of them were pretty torn up. The homeowner tried for several months to trap them, and eventually they were rescued one by one and brought to Hunny-Bunns. Isley herself has jagged edges on her ears from being torn apart by the other bunnies' razor-sharp teeth. Other than that, she has been rehabilitated and the worst lasting effect is her fear of the world. She finds great comfort and strength in Walker. He has been so good to her.

Walker and Isley are now looking for a loving home. They don't like dogs. They are super interactive with cats as well as calm-ish children. They are litterbox trained and house trained. They need a family who will shower them with love and affection, and respect their fragile dispositions.
