My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi!  It’s me, Gwen and my brother Colby.  We are two super cute and snuggly Doxie mixes from New Mexico. We’re both around 18 mos old. I’m about 15lbs, my brother about 17lbs. (hard to tell, Mom said we were too wiggly on the scale (seems like a dumb place to ‘just sit’.. just saying…) Clearly, I’m the brains of the two of us, but I still love my brother to pieces – we are truly inseparable – we do everything together. Almost every night, we play tag in the back yard. The big rock is my safe spot – you should see the look on my brother when I jump on top of the rock, lol. He thinks he’s sneaky and lays low until I jump off and then the race is on!
Our Foster mom calls us Gwen-Gwen and Colby Cheese – she’s a dork, but the names are kinda catchy! We are looking for our forever home with a secure fenced in back yard (at least 5ft tall). We might belong to the ‘short-legged-club’ but we can both jump pretty high and we are fast as lightning bolts!  Yes, even racing our humans down the stairs and we often win! Do be careful - we do not mean to trip you, we just wanna be first - ya know! At our foster mom’s place, we use the doggie door during the day, but we are never left unattended outside when she’s not home.  We do sleep in a crate at night, I love it, my brother has mixed feeling about it. We are UTD on shots, heartworm tested, chipped as well as spayed/neutered.  We have not been cat tested and our foster Mom does not have young children. We are feeling a little bit unsure about these smaller humans, (they are cute and all, and they do provide unlimited dropped snacks - gotta love that part!)  But probably would do better with respectful kids over 12 y/o. If interested in meeting us, the first step is to complete the application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms. Tag – you’re it! Hope to meet you soon! Love, Gwen-Gwen and Colby-Cheese. Colorado Corgis and Friends requires the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. The adoption fee for the pair is $600 and we are not doing out of state adoptions right now and we will not consider separating them.
