My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Felix is a super fun, high energy one-year-old dog who is looking for an owner who can play with him a lot. He loves to run outside chasing a ball or frisbee. He is a sweetheart who loves to cuddle, and he will always greet you with a happy kiss and tail wag.

He is well socialized with other dogs and loves to play. He has been going to a doggy daycare 1-2 times per week and does very well there.

Felix has been to a stay-away training camp for 5 weeks. With a bit of reinforcement, Felix will respond to most basic commands, and also responds very well to his e-collar.

Like any hound, he loves to show off his voice. He will bark at strangers, noises, or other animals but will respond to a "quiet" command.

Felix is not great with young children. He is not aggressive, but he doesn't love uninvited touching, particularly on his feet and while he is sleeping.

We love Felix and will miss him so much, but we cannot provide him the home he deserves with a newborn and two other young kids.
