Casey was rescued from being euthanized at a shelter where he arrived as a stray. He was extremely matted and dirty and fearful of people so he likely came from an abusive environment. However, when he arrived in our care he began to adjust very quickly.
He will need an experienced adopter who can give him the space he needs for a short time while he adjusts to his new environment. Having another dog will help him learn to trust his new family and also help with potty training.
Casey is a silly, active, loving dog that loves belly rubs, kisses, and loves to snuggle in your lap. He just needs a short time to know that he’s safe first.
He is working on potty training, currently using a belly band inside and doing better every day.

All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and DHPP, heartworm tested, treated for worms and fleas and most are microchipped.
We are not a shelter, we are 100% volunteer public charity. All of our dogs are in foster homes until they are adopted. Since we are not a shelter, we do not receive government funding. We are a public charity that relies solely on funds through our adoption fee, fundraisers, and private donations. Since we are 100% volunteer based, all funds collected go directly towards the rescue and vet costs of our dogs.
We take each rescue personally and spend a lot of effort trying to match the right dog to the right family. Thank you for considering one of our rescued dogs.
