Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello my name is Lily, my story is a story of a cat who kept losing her home and humans. I was rescued by neighborhood children whose parents changed their mind on keeping me once I outgrew my cute kitten stage. They handed me off to a local rescuer. This rescuer adopted me and provided me with unconditional love and stability. About 3 years later my human became ill and was sent to a nursing home. I once again lost my home and human. Lucky for me she had a close friend who decided to care for me but unfortunately he lost work and housing and was couch surfing with me. This was tough on me and stressed me out. He then reached out to Mason’s Helping Paw and they took me in, and found me a purrrfect foster home where I have foster cat and foster dog siblings . I am doing fantastic and can’t wait to find my forever family.
Message from Foster Mommy Pia :
Lily has come a long way. When I first began fostering her she did not show interest in playing. Lily can be friendly and likes to hang out with my friends when I have them over. But she will also let you know when she doesn’t want to be petted or had enough. She will warn you by batting at your hands or nibbling on your fingers. She does not use her claws when she bats at your hands. She also has learned to enjoy being petted. She can be playful with other cats and gets along fine with dogs meaning she will just stay out of their way. Lily loves food. She will let you know when she thinks she should be fed by sitting at the feeding spot or staring at her food dish and then will look at you. She will even greet you at the front door and walk you to her bowl. She loves her churro snack that she gets every night. She does like cat nip and ribbon toys. She absolutely loves boxes and heated blankets too. We truly enjoy fostering Lily and would be happy to chat with any potential adopter.
