My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Hunter and I’m the one you have been looking for! I’m a handsome, 5 yr old lab box mix around 60 lbs. I’m a bit of a clown and don’t take life too seriously. I love belly rubs, snacks, cuddles, kisses and bum scratches. I’m also pretty active and would love to go on a hike or walk with you and get to know your favorite places. I’m great with other dogs and love running and playing with all my pup friends. My foster mama might be a little biased, but she thinks I’m a sweetheart, that I’m smart and I’m great walking on my leash. I’m all chipped and ready to start my new adventure – when can you pick me up!

All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kenneled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel.
