My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ida is SUPER cute 19-month-old Canaan Dog mix. She's a medium sized girl at 35-lbs! Ida was brought to a rural Alabama shelter with an injured leg that had to be amputated. She hasn't let that slow her down one bit! She LOVES to play & loves being outside! She is dog friendly but she has a rougher play style with other dogs. She loves people & would love to have a family that includes her in daily activities! She can be a little bit shy when initially meeting someone but warms right up. She loves to be with her people regardless of what they're doing. Ida is medium energy & still has some puppy left in her! She'd do best in a home without young children due to her energy level. She's such a sweetheart & will make someone an excellent companion!
