My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet pup we think is around 10 months old and weighs in at around 35 lbs. Wally has come a long way from when he was taken in to rescue. He has been at his foster mom's house for a few weeks and has learned to use a doggie door while working on his housetraining manners. He was so scared at the beginning but in just weeks he has learned to trust and give lovings when he is cuddling with his foster mom. He is still unsure at the beginning but comes around at the end. He is most comfortable having another dog around so that will be important in any new home.
Every new day is a blessing for Wally as he just wants to be loved and cared for without having to go into survival mode. Gets along great with other dogs of all sizes, and will run and play with his doggie toys. I know his coloring isn't the standard Golden Retriever, BUT his siblings have some yellow in their coat and Wally has that sweet disposition of a Golden Retriever along with some wiry hair. Getting the breed of the dog is a guessing game. Regardless of what breed we may think he is, HE IS ADORABLE and will be loyal to his human. WATCH THE VIDEO ON YOUTUBE LISTED BELOW!

This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 12pm-2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
