My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Lola and I’m part of a bonded pair. I’m a sweet and friendly 10 year old Lab and Chow mix around 50 lbs and my very good friend Sadie is a 11 year old Sharpei mix around 70 lbs. Sadie and I do everything together and need to be adopted into the same family - don’t you think we are both so beautiful? We have so much love to give and don’t need much in return … just a walk, some snacks and a few belly rubs, and we are as happy as can be. We are better with adults than kids, so would prefer a home without small children - teenagers or older are more our style. We are great in the car and enjoy car rides. We are quiet when we are together, crate trained and very food and treat oriented and walk very well on a leash. We are fully vetted and ready for adoption. We can’t wait to meet you – please fill out an application today. Come and meet these wonderful girls: we know you’ll fall in love. If interested in giving these beautiful girls a forever home, please complete an application on Right to Live Rescue webpage.

All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kenneled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel.
