Best suited as the only pet with active adopters between the ages of 12 and 60. Long walks, hikes, jogging, play time in the yard. She has energy to burn daily.
She's super affectionate and playful with humans and quite content to be the only dog in the home. Housebroken. Likes to sleep in bed with you. Crate trained. Can jump over a 3' cat door like a gazelle, so your fence needs to be 4' or taller to keep her contained.
Play dates with other dogs may be ok but she tends to get bossy and sometimes picks fights with the resident dogs in her foster home. It's weird. It's not that she doesn't like other dogs, as shown in her video she often plays nicely with them. More like she overwhelms them and they get snappy with her to try to back her off and then she loses it. Almost like she doesn't understand the concept of another dog saying no more and she thinks they're just attacking her.
Video in play group at her foster home: https://youtu.be/zjBA_wzyzFU - And one of the dogs she's playing with is also a dog she'll fight with. Go figure.
Approx 2 years old and weighs about 13-14 lb.
Better suited to a calmer home environment because she gets really amped up when the energy in the home is hectic. One or two teenagers in the home is fine, 6 kids would probably amp her up too much.
We really want to find her a home with people who don't want another dog, don't want to go to the dog park, and don't want play dates with other dogs. In that environment she will thrive as a sweetheart.
