Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chip, Dip and Pip are active and fun seven-month-old, male Gerbils looking for a loving guardian together.
This adorable trio came to Friends of Petraits Rescue when their human moved to a no-pets apartment.
They love digging burrows in deep bedding, running on an exercise wheel and climbing and chewing on wooden toys.
The main diet of gerbils is pellets, supplemented with tiny amounts of fresh foods like broccoli, pecans, tofu, and tiny bites of carrots to name a few.
They love to be hand fed and will climb on you if you sit with them. They are more active in the early morning and early evening hours. You’ll see them running on their wheel and chewing their toys.
To meet and possibly adopt this adorable trio, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and e-mail friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to set up an appointment to meet them.
Their adoption fee of $40 as a trio benefits rescued pets.
If you need a complete set-up for your new gerbils including a 40-gallon glass aquarium with metal screen lid, food, litter, treats, toys, water bottle, hidey huts, and exercise wheel, the whole set-up is available for $75.
These gerbils are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
