Hi my name is Little Girl and I am quite small if my name already didn’t give that away. I’m a very sweet and affectionate lady who loves to cuddle up in your lap and receive endless amounts of belly rubs. I may be a little shy at first when meeting new people but I warm up quickly. I am a bit scared of loud noises as they tend to spook me. I enjoy spending time next to people and will follow you around everywhere. I am quite a spoiled girl and will only eat treats out of your hand if they are broken up into smaller pieces. I'm still working on some basic commands such as sit and lay down as we believe I was never taught those skills before. I do great in my kennel and don’t even make a peep even though I don’t always like going in there. I tend to shake sometimes when it gets cold outside so I love to wear sweaters to help keep me warm. I also really love big doggy beds. My foster family has a smaller bed more sized for me to lay in but I prefer the biggest one! There’s this cute thing I do when playing or when you tell me no. I like to lay down and drag my back legs behind me crawling towards you as I gaze at you with my gorgeous puppy dog eyes. I would love to find a home with a fenced in yard so I can explore. I would also prefer to find a home with kids over the age of 10 as younger kids may spook me. I’m such a sweet girl and don’t bite when I’m scared, I tend to just cower and shake. In my foster home I have two big furry foster brothers and do great with them! I don’t play a whole lot with them but enjoy laying next to them, but once in a while I love to run around and wrestle with them. Little Girl is a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix, weighs 17 lbs and was born approximately 3-13-19. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
