Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roo is a sweet, gentle and lovable, six-month-old, five and a half-pound, black, male mixed breed rabbit with long ears looking for a loving guardian.
Now that Roo is neutered, he is wonderful with his litter box. At Friends of Petraits Rescue, he spends his time in a pen with his litter box and toys and jumps up to say hello to anyone passing by including other rabbits. He’s very happy and friendly.
It appears that he has lived alone, but he appears to enjoy the company of other rabbits to snuggle with, play and groom.
He eats a diet of timothy and orchard hays, and LOVES his fresh salads of dandelion greens, Romaine, green and red leaf lettuces, parsley and cilantro and carrot tops with just the tip of the carrot. If you’d like to read up on rabbits and their care, please check out: http://www.rabbit.org/
Roo’s adoption fee of $125 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. He is extremely healthy and neutered. His entire set up including exercise pen, litter box, litter, toys, water bowl, hay and carrying case is available for an additional $100.
To meet and possibly adopt sweet Roo, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to make an appointment to meet him.
He is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
