Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IN SANTA CRUZ
Buster is a beautiful 2 yr. old Australian Shepherd. He is house trained, with good inside manners. Buster is very sweet and kind, but can take a bit of time to warm up to new people. Once he is comfortable his personality shines. Buster is friendly with other dogs, but can be a bit rough in play. He does listen to other dogs ques and will back off if asked. He would love another active dog to play with. He has been living with 2 older Border Collies and 2 cats and has been doing great. Buster is pretty good on leash, but can get excited when see other dogs. Buster knows some basic commands sit, down, has an OK stay, but needs work on recall. Buster would require a secure fenced yard, lots of exercise, both physical and mental. Best fit would be someone with experience with the breed, with a quiet household. Older children may be OK. Buster is neutered, UTD and microchipped.
Note: He has been good with some other dogs.
Mostly Ok on leash, but can become overexcited and frustrated when seeing other dogs, which can lead to a transfer of frustration to his handler.
Because of this he would need a confident, knowledgeable handler. Not recommended for a household with children.
