Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Raya is a 45lb people-loving pit-mix, recently rescued from a local shelter. There was no recorded history about her life before coming to this area, but the estimate is that she is about 4 years old. Raya is energetic. She loves to cuddle and will take advantage of any opportunity to show it. She is well behaved indoors, potty- and crate- trained, knows basic commands like sit, lay down, up, off and learned quickly where she can or cannot be in the apartment.
The issue is the actual apartment. The shelter said she was fine around other dogs, but she doesn't seem to be taking well the fact that there are many of them in this apartment complex. I don't have a backyard for her to slowly learn to trust other dogs. Because there are so many others and we keep bumping into them, it's been a stressful experience for both of us. Raya is a wonderful and loving dog anxious in the presence of other dogs. I would love for her to have a place to slowly adjust, and not be this anxious all the time
