My story

MEET ME on Sunday, May 23rd at The Perry Dog Festival! 11-3 at Lee Lydic Park 3965 Call Rd. Perry, Oh 44081

Carlton came to us from a NC shelter where he sat for months with no interest. He came into the shelter back in September with a neck wound likely from an embedded collar. He also has an old injury to one of his back legs. Possibly an old fracture. It's healed and does not cause him any pain at all. It doesn't slow him down one bit!

Carlton has not had a great life so far but, that doesn't stop him from loving EVERYONE he meets! We took him to a big Volleyball tournament where there were hundreds of people and he had the absolute best day of his life!! He loves to meet people and wants to give everyone kisses. He sucked up all the attention he could. He is super smart and is a FAST learner! He is estimated 6-7 years old.

He is housebroken and crate trained. He knows a few basic commands such as "sit" and "down". He loves car rides, balls, bones and a soft bed. He is very strong and working on leash manners. He does great with other dogs his size. He's very interested! We have not introduced him to smaller dogs yet.

This is a great dog looking for a best friend. He's obviously not been cared for much of his life but, we're gunna change that.

He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative and on prevention.
