Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello world! My name is Barnabus. I was named after a prominent Christian apostle that was known for his ability to offer encouragement to those that needed it. Foster mom gave me such a big name to help with my confidence. I was born to a litter of 8 puppies. Sadly, 3 of my siblings died when we contracted coccidia. I was two weeks old when I went to foster moms house, and noone thought I was going to make it. I beat the odds, and started to thrive. Even though I am one of the largest in my litter now, I am still a bashful and shy boy. I love other dogs, and would do best in a home with another pup that is confident.
I am an adorable puppy with a variety of dogs in my hairytage. I am what foster mom calls a south Texas special. Emphasis on the special! My mom is a 35lb lass that appears to be a cattle dog mixed with a min pin/German Shepherd. My dad was a traveling salesman. One thing is for sure, I am part angel! I am very human oriented, and love people once I warm up. I am great with other dogs, and even ignore some smelly things on foster moms ranch called horses.
I follow foster mom on a one mile off leash walk everyday. I stay right near her. I love our daily walks. Sometimes we go down to a river and I get to splash and play in the water, it is great fun!
I would do best in a home that doesn’t have small children. I am a puppy after all, and have sharp nails and teeth. I don’t ever mean no harm to no one, but am still just a young ‘un!
I will be a medium sized pup when I am all growed up. Foster mom says that I will probably be 35-50 lbs. I am going to be a medium energy pup.
