Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie is a terrier mix that is 3-4 years old. He is one of the cutest dogs you will meet but beneath that wiry hair and cute underbite is a dog that DOES NOT trust people. He suffered abuse of some sort in his past. We know there is a lover inside this guy -- we have seen that for ourselves, just ask his foster Judy!
So we have not given up on him. He is a sweetheart once he trusts you, but you will need to have the patience of Job to earn it. Once you have his trust, he just to wants to be velcro-ed to your side. He is a great companion and enjoys playing fetch. He is a smart dude and knows some of the basic commands. He gets along with most other dogs, regardless of size. He does NOT like cats.
As a result of his abusive past, he has lashed out and bitten in fear. We have learned some of his triggers: he can't take yelling, using a broom or mop , or seeing a fly swatter. He not good with small children or people he doesn't know. So he will require a room and crate for safety and confinement when his family is cleaning the house or having company. If you could give this little boy a loving, fear-free home, please call Judy 317-697-0382 his foster mom
