Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Yahtzee! I'm the sweetest beagle you'll ever meet. I love my person with all my heart. I'm a little older (probably 7-8 years old) with a sad back story. You see, I was probably hit by a car. I was in pain for a long while and couldn't walk. But after surgery and some rehab time, I can walk again! I still can be a bit wobbly and get knocked down at times by the other dogs in my foster home, but I pop right back up and continue on my way. Anyone that adopts me should know that I may have painful days and if my leg gets too painful, I might need another surgery down the road. But right now, my vet, my foster mom and I think I'm happy as can be and don't need anything more right now. I am dog friendly (once I trust the new dog) but I don't play with dogs. I tend to just ignore them or cuddle with them. My foster mom thinks I really need a yard since I am still building up my strength for long walks and can't go to dog parks. I like to spend a lot of time sunbathing or tracking things in the yard. I've been good with every person I've met, but I probably should be with a family that has older kids because I am very protective of my painful areas. I've never used a crate but I don't cause any problems when my foster mom is not home. I love cuddling with my person, chewing on nylabones and laying in the yard. I'll let you know when someone knocks on the door or if a dog is barking outside, otherwise I'm very quiet. If you give me a chance, I'll love you with all my heart the rest of my life. Are you who I've been wishing for?
