Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Princess and Amber are two bonded Siamese-type sisters (they are not purebreds) looking for their forever home together. They have had a tough life so far. We were able to trap them during a TNR project several months ago and place them into a foster home for socialization. Follow-up vet visits determined they would need entropion eye surgery. They spent most of their time hiding under furniture and under blankets (which we attributed to their painful eye condition). They finally received their eye surgeries in February; at their follow-up vet appointment, the surgeon said their eyes have healed nicely!
Although they are still very timid (especially Amber), they are learning how to be “real cats.” They are discovering how to play with cat toys and will sometimes tolerate petting and holding. But they need an experienced adopter who will be patient and gentle with them as they continue in the socialization process.
Princess and Amber are spayed, microchipped, and up to date on their vaccinations; they use the litter box with no problems, and get along great with the foster’s own kitties!
If you are the type of person who is willing to provide the patience and the love it takes to bring these kinds of kitties out of their shells—and you understand how rewarding it is to see their progress!—we’d love to hear from you.
We are asking a $100 adoption fee for the pair.
