Strawberry: Estimated DOB: 2/20/2019, Treeing Walker Coonhound, female, house trained, great with kids
Strawberry is the berry sweetest girl ever. She is living in a loving foster home with kids and other dogs and gets along famously with everyone. Very playful outside in the yard, she keeps the other dogs on their toes with her antics. She adores playing with her human siblings as well. Shy and timid meeting new people and situations, she warms up quickly when she figures out they mean no harm. When playtime is over, she is content to shadow you through your daily routine or curl up next to you on the sofa to watch tv and read. Berry cuddly, she’s a big lap dog and love bug. She wants to be near her people all the time and would be an excellent work from home companion. She enjoys chewing her stuffies and chewies and is very good about only gnawing on her stuff.
Strawberry has excellent house manners. She is house trained, but will use a pad if she can’t get outside. Very smart and eager to please, she will be quick to learn obedience commands when you have time to work with her. Afraid of very loud noises and giant commotions, she hides until the disturbance is over. She is not being crated in her foster home and has the run of the house. She has low to medium energy and doesn’t vocalize very much.
Strawberry is an all-around awesome dog who will be a wonderful addition to any family. She can’t wait to meet you and be your new faithful BFF.
