My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is MARIAH. She’s a young lady cat about a year and a half. She is friendly and enjoys chin and cheek rubs and being petted. She has been an indoor cat all her life and shared her loving home with a neutered male cat which she never adjusted to. The stress of interacting with the other cat caused her to develop some litter box behavior issues, thus she is best as the only cat in the house. She was in the shelter for a little over a week and was using the litter box with no problem, and is getting more comfortable watching the other cats play. Her perfect forever home would be a place where she can explore, climb and get lots of exercise as she needs to loose a few extra pounds. An outdoor screened patio with climbing tree would be ideal for her.
