Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Ralphie, and I am a handsome six-year-old black male cat. I was originally found stray, and I am declawed on my front paws. I`m thankful someone found me and brought me to the shelter! You see, I`m diabetic and require insulin injections every day. I`m very good about getting them but I need someone who gets me!! I am a very sweet and friendly boy, with a healthy curiosity. I love attention and affection and will return it with kisses! Talk to staff about possibly fostering me. Food, litter, and medical supplies are provided by the shelter for fosters. A quiet home with no small children or other animals would be ideal for me. If you are familiar with insulin injections, or if you might be eager to learn, a foster home (or foster-to-adopt) might be a possibility. Could you be my forever family? Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
