Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Soldier is a handsome 11-year-old American Pitbull mix. He is very healthy and active for his age. Soldier was abandoned at a boarding facility at aprox. 2 years old and after some time with them and not get any interest he came to Apollo. Soldier has trust issues and has decided he will like some people and not others. Usually, confident people are good for him. He is very spoiled by staff and volunteers. Loves to go on walks and then chill outside if weather is nice. Even though Soldier is selective with people we still believe he has someone out there perfect for him. Maybe someone that lives alone and doesn't have many visitors. Someone that can take him on walks and let him chill on the sofa. He is extremely clean in his kennel and when he has been in foster homes, he had no accidents. He's been known to like other dogs, but we still recommend slow introductions. We do not recommend he gets exposed to lots of people or any situation that might make him anxious. Soldier is a great companion. He walks great on the leash and is not reactive to people nor dogs while walking. He does not like cats nor rabbits. If you live alone and have a quiet life and would like a best friend Soldier is your guy.

More about this rescue
We are a 501c organization that saves pets from high kill shelters, off the streets and also accept pets as owner surrenders so they do not have to step a foot in the shelters. We believe all animals deserve a good life and we strive to give them one! We give them any medical attention they may need, including spay/neuters, a microchip and vaccinations and find them a forever home.
