My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scout is a protective, loyal partner. He loves to run and is high energy. He would do great in a household that is active and will take him on walks, runs and hikes. Scout loves the water and jumps headfirst in our kiddie pools at the rescue. He is a very affectionate dog and loves to snuggle in bed under the covers. He clings to his owner with a bit of separation anxiety when owner is not around. In a home with little exercise, he can become bored and destructive. He is house trained and walks well on a leash. Since he has gotten older his energy is less, but he will still love walks and hike and then a nice soft place to nap. He was born in 2015 and is located at the Rescue.

Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.

Adoption Fees for Texas residents:
Long-timers: $100
Senior Dogs: $150
Adult Dogs: $300
Puppies up to 11 months: $350

We are a 501c organization that saves pets from high kill shelters, off the streets and also accept pets as owner surrenders so they do not have to step a foot in the shelters. We believe all animals deserve a good life and we strive to give them one! We give them any medical attention they may need, including spay/neuters, a microchip and vaccinations and find them a forever home.
