Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
We all love Buddha. He`s a shelter favorite. Buddha is an older cat who is FIV+. He`s spent 3 years in the shelter now, during which time he has charmed us all. He`s a big, smart, confident cat who clearly lived on the streets a long time.
He`s the type of cat that likes being petted-until he doesn`t anymore. He doesn`t like dogs, especially big males (most likely from bad experiences in his past) but if you introduce him nicely to one, train either animal to respect boundaries, and use patience in monitoring Buddha with a dog, then he is good and lets them be.
This rugged beast is picky about his cat friends and loves to be super affectionate so being the only pet is his ideal home, so this little gargoyle gets all the attention.
Buddha loves his people, but you`ll have to put up with the occasional love bite. He really has a personality and is not a wallflower.
