My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eddie (born around June, 2014) is a shy, big black cat who came to Safe Haven with his sister, Sarah. He
takes a while to warm up to new people, but he is mild-mannered and friendly with people he trusts.
Eddie gets along well with friendly cats, but he can become jealous if his people pay attention to other
cats instead of him. His favorite times of the day are breakfast and dinner, but he hopes to find a new
home where all of the other times of day are just as exciting!

Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary (SHAS) is a no-kill, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in 1996, and is the largest and longest-running no-kill facility in the Las Cruces, NM area. SHAS provides medical care, food, shelter and comfort to nearly 90 homeless cats and dogs of our community, while seeking caring homes for them.
