My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lars is officially ready to find his human! He is a much happier pup who is eager for adventure, play, and cuddles.
Over these past months, we've reached a point in training where I feel confident of what his specific needs are and that his progress is steady and consistent. The improvements he has made in the past 6 months have been tremendous and with his set routine, he continues to show progress with each passing day. I can only imagine where he will be in the coming year.

Additional adoption info

All pet adoptions are subject to approval by SPCA staff.

An adoption application must be completed, followed by a screening and interview/counseling process. Adoption requirements are listed on the application.

We perform a fence check for most dogs and a vet check for all current pets. All current pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations.

Please contact the shelter directly for each pet's adoption fee: 803-648-6863. All adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, testing and a microchip.
