My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charles, or as his foster home calls him "Lord Charles" (aka Charlie), is a lovely tuxedo kitty. Rescued from a hard life on the street, Charles is now enjoying the good life on the inside and he's making the most of it. After a hard day of napping and cuddling in bed, he likes to relax by hanging out with his foster family on the couch. This people-watcher loves when people walk by the window. He also likes to chase laser pointers and play with toys ferociously - for five minutes at a time, and then decides it is time to lie down instead.

Gentle Charles would do well in a quiet environment. Affectionate in his own way, Charles warms up to new people quickly. He loves being scratched behind the ears and pet on the forehead. He is calm and sweet, and would likely be great with kids. Charles loves to eat, and needs to be fed twice a day, otherwise he will eat everything in front of him in one sitting.

Charles has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and Feline Leukemia, which means that he can only be around other cats with the same disease. He can be more susceptible to getting sick than other cats, so he needs regular veterinary checks to make sure he is in tip top shape. Though there are some extra precautions to take, Charles has no idea he is different and many cats with these viruses can live long and healthy lives. He is currently residing in a foster home with a feline companion that is also positive for Feline Leukemia.

Charles is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
