Updated Foster Notes: As far as Louis goes - he is not really a small dog. He`s about 30 lbs or more, he`s solid. He`s still somewhat skittish even after the about 2 years that we have had him, but is much better than when we first got him. He`s used to going outside throughout the day through our doggie doors. He sleeps in his own bed, because anything moving under blankets scare him. We don`t do crates. I think that with a person who would dedicate their time to just him, he would be amazing. He is a dog that loves dogs, but people terrify him. He actually socializes our new pups, as he loves to play with other dogs. He doesn`t like children, he will charge, bark and nip at children when they give him their backs. With men he just keeps away from them. He`s beautiful, he is gentle when you hand feed him treats, but he has issues. He needs someone with time, patience and dedicate themselves to him, the person who adopts him shouldn`t have any time restrictions for him to come around. Maybe with just one person and no other dogs around he will come around a little faster. But they will be able to take him to dog parks and know that he will love that interaction.
