My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say Hello to Meatloaf!! Isn't he gorgeous!! Meatloaf came to us when he was just 8 weeks old. He is now almost 12 weeks. His right front leg joints are a bit malformed, and he had a severe foot pad infection on that right foot. We have been doctoring that foot for almost a month, and it is finally healed., so amputation has been avoided. He is very energetic, playful, and runs around like crazy!! Meatloaf needs a new mom or dad that is experienced with the lab breed. and is home most of the time as he needs training. He is food motivated and knows "sit" He is working on house training & , knows what he is supposed to do outside, but will sometimes widdle in the house. Meatloaf is easily distracted (currently living with 5 special needs small dogs), ..... Meatloaf definitely needs a fenced yard, as he he loves to run and play!. That right leg may be just a tad shorter than the left (which is preferred with keeping that pad healed, but he will still be able to use it for balance, walking, running and playing). We would like him to stay somewhat "Local", no out of state adoptions, as we will get him neutered at the appropriate age, (his growth plates need to mature, especially for the front leg) and will be done by our critical care vet.
