My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reuben is a mixed breed. We are not sure what of. He is 24.5 pounds. He has the shape of a Scotty dog, and the coat of a Lhasa Apso. He has one ear erect, one pale eye, and a tail that curls and plumes over his back. We are listing him as a Pom/ski for lack of better knowledge. He was found as a stray. The family that found him searched for the owner but none was found. They elected to surrender him because they felt like they could not provide for him what he needed. He was around their children and was fine. However, Reuben does get angry when being groomed. He does fine in a bath but will need a groomer for special handling, like doing toe nails. For this reason we do not recommend him for families with kids. He is potty trained and has an easy going personality. He seems to always wear a smile. Ideally we would like to find a home with a fenced yard for Reuben. He gets along fine with other dogs in the home but is reactive on a leash. Please apply at www.misfitsdogrescue.org
