Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ginger is a female Bloodhound approximately 6-years old and 80lbs. She came to middle Tennessee via southern Illinois. Although Ginger is formerly a K-9, specializing in locating lost people, she never received much love and affection. She can be a bit of a wild woman and needs plenty of room to roam in a fenced area. Ginger does well with kids, but would need older children due to her energy and size (she can be jumpy). She will enjoy a country home, as to living in town, because Ginger can be vocal!
Her past life was predominantly being confined to a 10x10 kennel, so she is still learning how to play with others. She is good with other dogs, but learning to have fun is a process. There have been no signs of any aggression.
Ginger has PLENTY of love to give. She will climb on you softly so she can receive pets. We believe Ginger can come a long way with consistency and constant affection.
She is available for adoption on June 1st.
