Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mandela is a fun and social male cat looking for a home in which he can be the star of the show. He loves to cuddle, kiss your nose, and knead his paws like a kitten if snuggled in a blanket. He loves to play, sometimes more like a dog than a cat. He loves finding high perches to lie or the tiniest box he can find. We adopted Mandela as a kitten from the Washington Humane Society in 2012 along with another cat. Since then, a puppy, now 8yo and two kids, 3yo and 6yo have joined our family. While Mandela gets along fine with the dog and does well with the kids, sharing our attention with so many others has been hard on him. We love Mandela and he's a good cat. Our current situation though is leaving him stressed and perhaps bored. He attacks the other cat, and acts out on phone cords and carpet when he's bored/mad/jealous. He likes people but hates competition for their attention. We are too late realizing he would be better in a one-cat household and the center of attention.
